Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Eve filled with champagne and sparkles! Instead of ringing in the New Year downtown with friends like usual, I was actually at work. That sounds awful, I know, but I actually enjoyed working last night. It was rather entertaining, and instead of spending money, I made some! I worked a beer tub at my family business, Seville Quarter. I really enjoy working it because its fun to interact with all the different personalities that are there.

Now that it is 2015, that means New Year new me, right? I decided so. Probably like many I have never stuck to any of the new years resolutions I have made, but then again, I have never really made any serious ones. This year, I have to say my resolutions are rather ~*<basic>*~, but I am going to do my best to stick to them!

New Years Resolutions-

1. Get Fit / Eat Healthy
I would say this is probably the most common of all new years resolutions, but while I'm not in bad shape, taking care of your body is important and I’d like to get into a healthy routine now, rather than later.

2. Get Organized and Do Well in School
This is important because in college it is so easy to get sidetracked and forget just how important (and expensive) school is. I need to work on time management, get my planner/desk area organized, and not watch so much Netflix!! Netflix is my favorite guilty pleasure that gets me into a lot of trouble- how did the one episode I said I was going to watch turn into 5!?

3. Find A Hobby
Instead of watching Netflix in bed all day when I have nothing else going on, I want to pick up a sport, or just some kind of hobby to do when I have time. I will be thinking and keep y'all posted.

4. Have Fun In Everything I Do
I have a very stressful personality; I get it from both of my parents. Sometimes instead of just enjoying life, I get very wrapped up in the stresses of life and forget to look at how beautiful life is! God has blessed me in so many ways, and this year I'm not going to stress so much. #tooblessedtobestressed #amiright?

5. Be Adventurous
I'm not afraid to try new things, but I would like to just try more things. Get out; get active, do new and exciting things. Do things that are out of the ordinary, or even just go out on a Tuesday night even if I don't feel like getting dressed into anything but my pajamas.

Hope this post wasn't too long; I got carried away in the magic of blog writing! I really hope everyone has the best New Years, and I am so looking forward to what 2015 has in store for me. I have a feeling it is going to be a great year!

PS- here is a picture of my cousin Lauren and me over the summer working a beer tub in Phineas Phogg's at SQ. Last night, we worked two different beet tubs in two different rooms, but it was always so much fun to work together.
