I would bet that almost everyone has a Netflix subscription, but whether you have time to watch, or even know what to watch is another story. Like I have said before, I am a TV enthusiast- somewhat obsessed. I have seen a lot of the movies and TV shows on Netflix, so I believe I have a few good recommendations for anyone who is looking to start a new show. Some may think these shows are too young for them, and maybe that is true for some of the recommendations, but I believe I have a very eclectic taste. At least one of these recommendations is sure to appeal to you.

Let's start with television series, my favorite. I know what you may be thinking, I don't have time to start a new series, I have a busy and hectic life. Well, I am giving you a way to relax from that hectic life. You don't have to give these shows your undivided attention, keep in on in the background while you're working around the house, doing homework, exercising, or whatever you may be doing. Watch it before to you to bed.

TV Series: (I will add a description for some, not all, but I promise every series listed is worth the watch) {in no order}

  • Grey's Anatomy: I highly recommend starting this show from season 1 and following it throughout the whole series. You will fall in love with the story and the characters. It is written very well with a great storyline, medical drama and love stories.
  • Friends: Also one of my favorites. An oldie, but a goodie. If you have not seen it yet, and are looking for a lighthearted comedy full of love and friendship, I recommend this. If you have already watched Friends, but it has been years, watch it again.
  • Weeds: Starts off a little slow, but once you get into it you will be hooked. Full of drama.
  • Revenge
  • Scandal: From the same creator as Grey's Anatomy, this show is just as addicting. I like the story line better, just because I am really into politics and love D.C. You don't even have to like politics to watch it, because thats not really what its about. It's very intense, dramatic, but with also a great love triangle. (If you can't tell, I am a sucker for a good love story)
  • Gossip Girl: I would say this is sort of like the Sex and the City, but set in high school and college, very scandalous, full of drama, amazing clothes. I am still obsessed/in love with all of the characters from GG. Well, except for a few, but I will let you make your own opinions.
  • One Tree Hill
  • House of Cards: Full of political drama, and I love it. You have to pay close attention to the details. You may not be into it at first, but like with most series, it keeps getting better. I have not finished the series, it is my current show that I watch when I have time.
  • The Kennedy's
  • American Horror Story
  • Orange Is The New Black: Hard to watch at times, very graphic, but somehow a show that I enjoyed to watch.
  • Criminal Minds
  • I have been told to watch, but have not yet:
    • Breaking Bad
    • How I Met Your Mother
Movies: {in no order}
  • Basic Instinct
  • Mona Lisa Smile
  • Forrest Gump: Classic
  • Breakfast at Tiffany's: Classic
  • Safe Haven: Great movie, and I would also recommend reading the book.
  • Clueless: Two words: As If
  • Olympus Has Fallen
  • Mr. Deeds
  • Grease: Classic
  • Dumb and Dumber
  • Fried Green Tomatoes
  • World War Z
I'm sure there are plenty more movies/shows on Netflix that are great, that  I have just missed, or haven't seen yet. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!! Thanks for reading!
